How good is Yahoo's search engine submission service? I was submitting my site to them free of cost when I came across their paid service.

Has anyone tried it before? How was your overall experience with it? Please share.

thats the reason why many people use google and google has success in getting relevant content not paid content in its organic search. but if you feel you are loosing some market in yahoo then you can go ahead with the paid subscription.

But what is the average cost for that? I use Yahoo too apart from Google and it is giving me good backlinks till now.

Well, it's totally depends on your own personal point of view here...

If you have the budget and can afford to buy the paid submission, then just go ahead or else, just stick with the ordinary submission!

I didn't even know they charged for submissions to their search engine. Is it like a featured listing or something, like how AdWords gets you on top of Google.com's results?

However, I have never used this service, as I think I'm not even needed it at this moment!
