Hello there,
I don't know whether this is the correct thread to be posted. Anyways i am in a deep trouble.Some serious virus has effected my Yahoo messenger. It pops out some porn links to all my friends full time when i gets logged in. If they are also off line it pops out msgs. the status seems to be like written in other languages. how can i fix this problem. Any information about this would be great..

Hi! What I would do if I had the same problem is to uninstall Yahoo Messenger from my PC, and then launch a full virus scan on my hard drives. This should clean your computer of any virus, malware and/or spyware that have been lodged via your YM application.

After that, I would download a fresh YM installer and install it on my PC. That should work out fine.

IF you don't mind, I suggested you to try the Super Anti Spyware to remove all the viruses that hidden in your computer.

Just type in the Super Anti Spyware and download the program. By the way, don't forget to turn off your system restore as well for a better scanning result!
