Yahoo! finally put captcha into the chatrooms. What does everyone think about this?

I think it was long-awaited. The rooms were bot-dominated.

Well thats a good step to control the spams in the chatroom. But still I get good amount of offline spams and they really sucks!!!

I don't think those will be prevented any time soon. It's a bit more difficult be cause Yahoo! doesn't monitor IMs.

I think they should monitor it as it is very frustrating to see offlines messages full of spams. I wish i could those spammers. lol

Really great.. I just hope that the captcha doesn't make the chatting too difficult and complicated...

That's really a great news to hear about. Bots have always been a pester when it comes to chat in chatrooms with almost 75% of the message i receive would have been sent by a bot. This will be great, no more nuisances in the chat rooms.

It lessen the spam we get in their chat rooms which is good by the way. I used to hate their chat rooms, it's like you're talking to bots all the time. LOL!

This is really great news.. the chatrooms were totally dominated by bots.. lol. Even if some real person tried conversing with me i would still think it was a bot or something.. lol

I still remember those days when out of every 20 people whom i say hi, 19 would be bots. It was bad days for yahoo. Captcha was a good way to combat bots. Now yahoo chatrooms are pretty clean.
