If Microsoft took over Yahoo the entire idea of all their programs would most likely change, resulting in loss of users immediately.

I would never want this to occur.

I am not pretty sure weather the deal is done or not but i too have heard the same news and it think it is definately gonna affect Google in some way....

First of all it is a rumor and nothing else. If that happens some day then it is going to trouble Google for sure. Yahoo is just next to Google and if they merge or Microsoft buy it then possibility increases many times that they will beat Google.

they had put a bid for 44$ billion..

however i doubt that will ever happen.....yahoo being such a old company wont go for so cheap..

maybe 100 $ billion will do

I'm really waiting for some updates on this. I've checked all the major headlines and everything and I haven't found anything. I'm hoping this deal DOESNT go through as I like them seperate for some reason...

Yahoo is really taking a long time to think this over which means ultimately that they might decide to sell themselves to microsoft or at least that's what I believe.
