Default Will yahoo and aol merge?

What do you think it will mean? What will happen if both of them do merge?

Not much of a future left for AOL but even with their dwindling user base they still have a pretty good number of users.

In order for Yahoo to make up any ground on Google, I think this is a must do for them!

If I were Yahoo, I would push this deal through fast and also pursue partnerships with companies like the Opera browser, myspace and a few others.

Even though this will never happen, (AOL and Google are as tight as super glue) is think it would be a good deal. They both really have the same goal in terms of user services and such. This can seen with the way their home pages so closely match each other.

Thank you

It is survival of the fittest. Merging is one way to survive. Holy alliance is what is commonly happening. We see Yahoo forging a tie up with Microsoft, Google with Firefox. Merging of AOL and Yahoo is a possibility.

i don’t think it will happen, and i don't think it would benefit yahoo if they did anyway. Aol has nothing much to offer.

Perhaps if these two companies merge, it can turn to something huge. The Yahoo network is already huge and adding AOL to it will definitely be a plus.
