Current stats show that yahoo is no longer #1 on the internet, the new crown goes to MySpace but what's funny is that Yahoo was quick to come back and state that the way in which #'s are calculated was incorrect. The question I have is why didn't they say they were incorrect before when they were proclaimed as #1 ?

Weren't these stats measured by Compete?
Compete only tracks US visitors which in my opinion is bullshit! There are enough people all over the world utilizing services. Incidently, Yahoo! is still Rank 1 out on Compete.

Shortly after the news was released, yahoo came on the attack stating that the news was incorrect and that comscore was improperly tracking the results. comscore in a surprising turn of events now has come out stating that Google has now surpassed Yahoo. This could get ugly people :)

hmm forgetting that part, why is myspace number one, sure it has free music of some sort and movie video hosting, but i didn't find it very special, many people must have been there just to hear music
