Personally, I think they wanted to put a lot more emphasis on search, and they succeeded to do so.

Notice how the search bar is now dominant over all other page options?

I guess the new look is clean and professional, but seems to be lacking that "fun" feeling I used to get when visiting Yahoo.

Thoughts?

I like the organization of the page too in this new yahoo, but in terms of email of yahoo from new email beta system, have tried it but seems i dont like it, i just switch to the standard yahoo mail mail rather this beta version.

I like this new look so more than the old one, they started to have things piled up until you didn't now where to find anything.
Now everything is in place, they have done a really great work.

Things are bit more organized now. Also, usage of Ajax for the buttons in the top left is useful.

The clutter however, remains as is.

I don't think Yahoo is going to be able to solve the clutter problem anytime soon.

True... very true.

They have such a lot to offer, that they just got no option!
