I have tried so many things to get this to work...

There is a gap between the header, footer, and middle section, also the middle white bit wont stick to the 700px table width.

The middle area is not an image but just the second row of a table with bgcolor="'#FFF"

I don’t know how to make it... click together, I have tried cell spacing/padding at 0 no idea how to fix this... any help would be appreciated.

P.S would rather the help came as more HTML coding rather than Javascript - I need to be able to know what i have to do for the futures sake

the code would be definitely helpful, but just a quick comment:
- forget about the tables already and try to use CSS. I got rid of all of my "tabled" design and use CSS everywhere. Just take a look here what can be done with css:

right... i'm a css advocate as well. there are so many css resources out there, so it's pretty easy to convert your table dependent sites into tableless designs. aside from csszengarden.com, below is a list of my favorite css sites.

my cousin has a webdesign company for years and I'm trying to "force" them to use CSS instead of TABLE.

But he says, he doesn't have time to learn it. My oppinion, once you've learned it you'll save more time, (and money), with little changes you can use the CSS file in a totally different site. Try this with tables ;)
