What software do you use to make your websites? I'm trying to find a good one. Any tips?

Macromedia Studio MX (now Adobe), IE6 & Firefox for viewing and testing, and Joomla for Content management Systems (although you do need a reasonable knowledge of CSS, PHP, XML and XHTML to do the tweaking).
I use Nero to convert files for media. Hope this helps

Have you tried A blogging server on your own PC- client side content management.
Its a db to html, client site content management system. Basically like a PC based version of blogger. Template designs are applied in a similar way to blogger by replacing the text with special tags but there are more tags available and greater control. Content is entered via a form just like in an online CMS but without having to set up an online server. Overall it builds compliant sites very quickly. We'd never go back to using tools like Dreamweaver and rarely have to use online CMS solutions any more. |
