I'm using Netscape, I understand how to 'view source', but I do not know how to put a banner onto my website. If I copy the 'source' into notepad, and then add the 'source' of the banner, I'm not even sure that's what you're supposed to do, then how do I get it back into my web page?
Email is daveisnb@peoplpc.com, and and all help would be most apprecitated. ~ thanks, Jasmine |

Here is a small piece of HTML code to put an image into your page:
<html> <body> <img src="yourBanner.jpg" align="left">Here is an image<br> </body> </html> the src indicates the path of your page. If the image is located at a different folder use src="\FolderName\image.jpg" if your banner links to another web page, use src="http://www.yoursite.com/yourbanner.gif" If you want to copy a source to your webpage, open your html page using notepad then paste the source code. To get back to your page, save the changes you have made on the source, close notepad, and click refresh on your original page. The changes should now take effect on your page. |
