Default What if 1000?

I plan to sell items through my brand new site.
I was wondering if the items I will sell will be more than 1000 that it is impossible to make link one by one .

does anyone know any system I can use? any program / coding or something?
NOTe: I am computer idiot !

Just from the way you worded your post, I am assuming you are planning to use simple HTML?!

You might want to look around at some of the shopping cart software for websites. In the long run, it will save you a lot of time and effort. Why re-invent the wheel?

osCommerce springs to mind osCommerce: Solutions as one solution, but you can do a Google search to find others. Best of all, if you stick to Open Source software, it's free to use. (Payment gateways will take their cut on the sales, however)

Perhaps someone else can recommend something here. I have only used (and LOVE) Virtuemart for Mambo/Joomla CMS, but that is just my preference.
