i use frontpage and paint.net although they arent that good when compared to others, it is just what i know how to use.

mostly frontpage, but i use image editing tools sometimes if needed. i dont think frontpage is the best, but it is simple & easy to use.

I use a lot Dreamweaver, Frontpage and Photoshop for designing my websites, specially Frontpage and Photoshop. So bad, Microsoft is going to stop making Frontpage, I wanted some updates. Anyway, I will check those new applications.

Code from FrontPage is bloated.

Stick to Dreamweaver for HTML - Fireworks/Photoshop for graphics. Try to go for as much CSS as possible.

Biggest headache will be IE6. FF and IE7 both work quite well overall (although FF is best)

people are starting to upgrade to IE7 if not firefox anyway, and i guess why one would choose frontpage over DW could be because it is simpler, and just because it comes in the office pack

well like i said, fp is not the best but is maybe the simplest to use compared to others, and for someone who does not want to bother using some time on learning how to use another program, fp works just fine.
