Just wondering how many people out there use Dreamweaver? I know it is an expensive program and you can get cheaper ones like GoLive and Front Page but I just prefer the features and UI of Dreamweaver... I tried writing my own HTML for a while but there is no way I will ever get that stuff down!

Let me just create a stir here. Microsoft discontinued Frontpage in 2006 but support to Frontpage customer is still available. Instead, Microsoft introduced new products whose features were taken from Frontpage. These are Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer 2007 and Microsoft Expression Web. Do these web dev't softwares finally give Dreamweaver a run for its money?

A friend of mine is using Microsoft's Expression and says he likes it. I haven't tried it yet and don't know when I will. Doubt I will at all though. I hand code using Notepad++ and don't like wysiwyg editors in the least bit.

I liked Dreamweaver in my early days. Now I just consider it bloatware which contains too many options I will never use. It is, however, a good program for beginners. It does (or did) come with some decent tutorials which takes you from the ground up.
I have not bothered with the latest 2-3 versions as the cost highly outweighs its usefulness. I agree with M3talc0re... notepad and a simple FTP proggie is all you need. Oh, and perhaps some dev knowledge would helpful too. ;)
