I allways could never be botherd learning css because I thought it would be hard to learn, but its really fairly simple.
I never really done any tutorials on it I have just picked it up while playing around with things like forums and helping people out with there sites. |

I learned by playing with CSS from other sites. Changing things to see what happened. I of course read all of w3's pages on it first, then went back and read them again after getting a better grasp on it just so that I would understand what they were talking about better.

Online tutorials. There are quite a few of these kicking around. After learning CSS, I'm almost embarrassed to show off my older works which use tables and such.

Don't start creating sites from scratch. You'll take to long end up frustrated.
Use tools like CSS Template and stylesheet design wizard or adapt other peoples designs at first. Start by learning how to make small changes such as adding your logo then gradually try more advanced features with each new website. You'll soon find you can do whatever you like although you'll probably never actually start with an empty stylesheet. |

i learnt first by taking a ready to use website, with a perfect and valid CSS enclosed, and studied it, modified stuff, and saw how it works, then pulled lines from other's CSS and in the end constructed my own..
