Anyone know how un-biased these guys are?

Most of their top position hosting company rarely see a bad review here. Although, if you go to Google and search for "XYZ Hosting Reviews" you can usually find several bad reviews about any of the given "top" hosting companies.

I suppose there are malcontents everywhere, but who do you beleive?

Nothing suspect that I am aware of. I use Hostgator and I would definitely rank them as high. When I last looked at this site (about a year ago I think) Hostgator weren't number 1 in the list but they were on page 1.

In fact - I just looked at the reviews and I saw my own review that was submitted on 22nd January 2005!

I think that the site is not well advertised and the inputs are low compared to the volume of users for each company.

When taking on a new client, I, naturally, suggest the host I know (and love!!) but I always send them to WHJ so they can make up their own minds and see what others have to say.

Been through the "Well you suggested them!" scenario with a client in the past. If they make the final decision, I don't have to listen to that... ;D

Agreed, WHJ should have a link at the top of Hosting companies home page. Then again, only the top rated hosts would want to do this...

I can't believe that Yahoo isn't in best ten at least. You cant just depend on users reviews only. You must have someone with experience to Rank them and the users rank is there as well but not alone. You could easily miss good hosting as no users joined their community. So visitors will have malcontent.
