how to park a domain in a hosting? Normally how long it takes to make the site work? i currently have a subdomain for a free hosting..

the hosting must accept parking domains, then all you have to do is to make your domain DNS to the hosting, it shouldn't take more than 24 hours.

Do you want to get a domain? Or, do you want to park your sub-domain? If the latter is the case, then all you need to do is put up an "under construction" page, since the hosting is free.

As thebookish has pointed out, the main problem here is the DNS matter, as you'll need to point your own domain DNS to the hosting first...
