If your looking to change to a different antivirus then this is what I suggest. If your looking for a free antivirus then you should try out "AVG antivirus". It has pretty basic protection but it provides free updates for a limited time and it doesn't get in the way. Another free program that I still use today as a backup but is more of an antispyware is "Spybot Search and Destroy". It too has free updates and they are not limited. It also comes with advanced tools and options (very useful) and is not a resource hog. But if you want top of the line antivirus protection then your going to have to pay. Some current top brands are "Norton Antivirus" and "McAfee Antivirus". Both which have easy control with what to block and what not to block and most of the time does not get in the way.
