i was wondering if there is a way to make a backup cd of windows which is costumized with for example with my own software, and with updates for windoes etc, and would be legal to make such?

i heard about something like this but dont have the details, also im not sure if it is legal or not, but im sure it is possible to make a customized version of windows and add all the updates plus some some software.

Yes, indeed you can make a Windows Installation Disk with your updates, softwares, drivers and more. Whats more, you can have them installed automatically as well. Download and use nLite to perform the task.

nice site, now that i think about it i did try to follow this site’s instructions to make my own windows cd once, but it needed too much time and i had other things i had to do so i gave it up.

yes it is possible there is a utility in windows installation disk where you can put all the customisations actually it is a wizard which can be used to create custom disks in which you put paswords , softwares , timezones etc before hand only
