Default universal adaptors

i see many universal power adapters lately, and
because it seems useful, one would want to buy one for laptops or whatever one uses, but after i bought one for my laptop, i see how poor quality it is. the connectors which are used for different laptops are weared out easily, and it is not easy replacing them. i hard to buy another universal power adapter (cheaper) just for the connectors.
for you who also have one of these, did you have problems with it like me?

i have been using mine for a while with no problems, which brand is yours? it probably matters like with everything else. My connectors when connected are hard to remove and are therefor not damaged or broken easily.

i heard from my friend about how troublesome it can get, but i have not used one myself, i just buy the original adapter if mine breaks, as i wouldnt be using the universal one that much since i dont buy many laptops at the same time.

i heard from my friend about how troublesome it can be, but i never had one myself, i would never come to use it for 2 laptops as i only use one at a time and it would probably break before i get the next one and have problems with itøs power adapter.

just dont use such adapters,if they give trouble then you will probably end up using more money than you would for a brand new adapter that is just for your laptop.

i dont use one for the laptop but i did use such a universal adapter long ago for a console if i remember correctly and it didnt hold out much, it burned out easily and that is probably because of it being bad quality, and that is how your adapter would be if you bought it online.

that is only because old adapters can only be used for a limited time before burning up, even if you have the original power adapter for the nintendo for example, it would still burn up if you left it on, but that changes with playstation and later consoles.

i guess you are right about that, all the old adapters burn up fast like that, so you cannot compare it with the current power adapters
