depends on the type of ipod and also, the better the thing is, the more power it consumes, at least that is how it is for mobiles . im still using mp3, and probably wont use ipods until they are more improved.

creative, you mean mp3 ? if so then ofcourse it will last longer, and if you only use it for music, then it is better no to get an ipod in the first place.

maybe it was a defective one from the start or you bought it cheaply from somewhere like importing from china ? ipods are really good when it comes to quality.

ipods are good from what i know, but maybe you bought yours somewhere cheap like from china or import site ? at any case it shouldn’t break that easily.

not many comments to give, i have an ipod and have had it for a while without any problems, so maybe you had a problem with it because it was bought cheap or was defect to begin with.

i have an ipod and never had problems with it, so your ipod might have been a bit defect when you bought it or so, and also why didnt you replace it ?

You can use good quality battery extenders for ipods or use replaceable batteries for your ipod.
