Default The fly on the wall.

I just came across this little nugget:

Guardian Unlimited | UK Latest | Aiming for the ultimate spy flies

Yes! Insect spying machines. Like our world isn't paranoid enough without having to worry about that fly crawling up the wall.

This worries me also:
Quote:
The US military, which is partly funding the research, has even expressed an interest in using the robots to deliver small explosive charges.
This should make airport security a nightmare.

"Do you have anything to declare?"

"Yes, 2 flies and a beetle!"

"Did you pack these insects yourself?"

We're going to need better fly swatters. :)

:S

Scary, indeed..although I can think of certain cases when I could use on of those (but more cases where I'd prefer not to have one spying on me:|

I can envision a swarm of these kicking the crap out of a can of Raid.

Instead of the usual bug-response of, "RAAAID!" it will be a bug staring angrily at the large spray can, saying, "Come git some, nozzle head!" :)

Get your hammers ready and hit as soon as you see an unusual fly moving around you..

What? You didn't interogate them? Pull their wings of to force them to talk?

Who sent them? What was their mission?

Now we'll never know! ;)

This is not the kind of power I want the US military to have. We already know their willingness to spy on innocent people!

Me and bugs used to have a truce to. I leave them alive, as long they stay out of my dinner. Now, I guess, that truce is over.
