Imagine being able to record your daily, weekly, or monthly podcast while driving to work. I've been thinking about doing some podcasting (thanks to Robert I now work full time here at PreCharge Forums so it may be a while) and this little gadget could really come in handy.

Podcast Studio in your Pocket

Belkin's TuneTalk, a snap-on microphone for recording voice and sound onto the 5G "video" iPod, now works with the "remastered" iPod Nano -- a combination that would be perfect for recording podcasts on the go. The TuneTalk records uncompressed WAV sound from two mics that are tilted slightly away from each other to create stereo separation (you can double your record time by switching to mono). The TuneTalk stores these files in a dedicated directory on the 5G iPod, the 5.5G iPod, or the latest iPod Nano.

I might do some podcasting. I was looking to do something a little more formal than that, but maybe I could use that for something extra. I'll keep it intersting, you know?

If I bought this toy I would probably use it for note keeping throughout the day. Nothing serious.
