Hi, Can I use .hatches to rewrite urls from '/' to '.html'?

Hi guys,

I am not very clever with .htaccess so dont know if this can be achieved.

I am running this site WebnWeb.info on phpld v3.5 . I have just upgraded it from v2. On v2 it ran a mod. Which rewrote urls so they all ended in .html. As you can see this now does not happen, there is no file extension. The mod doesn’t work in this new version. So if I cant get a rewrite to work to .html, I will slow hundreds of pages of the directory with Page rank on them!!

You can see what I mean by clicking on any directory link, then remove the trailing / and put .html, voila the Page ranked page.

Any help appreciated,

Yes you can but can't you just edit it straight from your ftp? Like just click file.php and change the .php to .html?

I think he mean about the generated url from php scripts. I know there are mods that do this also for the version 3.2 of phpld

Yep, I agree of what you've said here, mann3r.

Some of the moderators were generated the URL from the php srcipts of the phpld version 3.2...

BY the way, you can search it at the related .htaccess forums...
