What apache version do you use 1.3 or 2.2?
A lot of people still using 1.3 because they said that 2.2 in not full stable/compatilble with some apps.

I use 1.3.36 (Unix). I guess this is only because my webhost hasn't updated.

I would want 2x over 1x the face that it's more advance.

I have my own VPS. I chose to stick to 1.3 as that is offered and well supported by cPanel. It is also lighter I have read.

still using 1.3 it was pre-installed on the hosting service i am in.
