I've recently implemented clear text passwords for my listeners. Prior to the password protection, I had a kornshell script that could be executed to stop the listeners. I modified the code like so:
$COMMAND lsnrctl<<EOF set current listener LISTENER_$SID set password $lsnr_pw stop exit EOF ..But it is still failing to stop the listeners with the ". Not recognize password" error. I've confirmed that the password in the script matches the password in listener.ora. I'm not sure what else to try...is it even possible to make the script interact with the LSNRCTL utility as I'm trying to do? Please help. Thanks cameron |
