Default How to log sql commands in DBI

Hello!

I'm accessing to an oracle DB and run an update on several rows of it. I use DBI..
How can I write out to a logfile those rows that have been updated successfully?
I tried using DBI trace but I think it's no good for this. I don't want to use any special module
for this if possible.
Thank
jason
