Default How to get argument name for a sub

Hello!

I'm given like this: $a= 12;

Is there any way to create a sub which input parameter is $a and returns " $a = 12 ";
I can get the value of the argument but not the name! I need it, because I'd like to
write a function (sub) for tracing purpose.
Thanks
cameron
