I have a bunch of files that contains European characters. They come from different European countries so they might have different encodings. Now I want to convert them all to UTF-8 characters. In linux, when you use emacs to read them, some of the characters show up as \201, \224(which can be recognized by regular expression /[\224]/) etc, some just look like a space. Now the questions are:
1. How can I find the regular expression for the characters that look like a space? 2. Where can I find the regular expression for accented characters like "letter o with 2 dots on the top of it" in UTF-8? Thanks jordan |
