to build link for a new site, what would you do?

For most people, it will be massive directory submission. However, is that the best way?

I rather spend in it buying blog post from related blog. How about you?

This is something I have thought about aswell. I often wonder how I can advertise my sites as I have little spare time to work on Search Engine Optimization and directory submitting ect, what would be the best way to spend my money on advetisement.

I will be interested to see what you guys have tried out and what worked or didnt work for you.

In other forum, most of the people who complain their site is not indexed only has link from directory...

I would pay people to write about my site. You could probably get anywhere from 10-20 articles by doing this, and the links are a lot better than just having a link randomly sitting somewhere.
