Just recently I have discovered something that I want to share with you guys.
I have a new site and I want it to get indexed fast by Google, MSN, and Yahoo. I've tried an experiment on how to get indexed fast by these search engines. The one that is very effective is blogging. Just simply create a blog related to the niche of your new site and you will see that all these search engines will indexed your sites fast. Have anyone tried it before? |

Yes!
I get paid to put Search Engine Optimization entries on my blogs for other sites because my blog is so well indexed. If I google my blog pseudonym I'm in awe at the number of hits and almost wish I'd used my real name for my blog entries. My dog is becoming very famous online (lol) since its his name I use. Another thing to do is write articles for article directories that are free to distribute. Others can post your articles on their website and you put a line at the bottom with a well-written section writing your keywords and linking your site. It's awesome how it can spread like wildfire and if you do it for a short time, you'll be astonished next time you google yourself or your keywords. :)

Blogging is been now a trend in Search Engine Optimization. Few SEO/webmaster are beginning to buy links for blogs that has high traffic, Page Ranking and indexed pages. I agree to Dana that you should also create an article that can be distributed to article directories. In these way interested people will just add your article in their site and you will have one-way links from their site. ;)

Don't forget that there is evidence that Google does not index the comments of most blogs. By "Blogging for Search Engine Optimization" you mean relevant anchored keywords in the entries of the blog.

Yes, Pedro...good point.
A good rule of thumb is to have your relevant keywords in your first sentence, your last and once in each paragraph. Also using h1, h2 and h3 headings with your keywords in them helps too.
