Default MS SQL Server 2005

has anybody made the updgrade from 2K to 05? DTS was changed to SSIS and query analyzer and enterprise manager were merged into one... aside from that, i don't see much difference

Did you make the switch? If so was it easy and how do you like the upgrade?

i still have 2k on my machine but from my previous job they upgraded to 05. upgrading isn't that hard and like i said, those were the only differences i've found so far and i liked it because i don't have to shift between the query analyzer and the enterprise manager. i just remembered i didn't see the Profiler on 2005.... but i'm sure it's around there somewhere because it's an important tool. there were also some cosmetic changes like when you want to modify a table structure...on 05 you right-click on a table and click Modify and on 2k you right-click and select DesignTable. when you open a table, on 05 you just double-click or right-click select OPEN, on 2K you have to right-click and select OPEN TABLE then RETURN ALL ROWS... minor cosmetic changes
