I have a couple of related questions.
First, when checking inbound links to my site, most of them had nothing to do with the few directories and 6 article directories that I submitted 15 articles each to, so I want to know why and how these sites linked to mine. All or most of these inbound links were business websites, as opposed to article directory links back to my site or article directories that created inbound links to my site. There were so many links that I could not tell if the few regular directories and articles directories that I submitted to were listed. Could they be helping in an indirect way? Do these inbound links mean that people can come from these sites to my site, in addition to link popularity? What effect, if any, does page rank for sites linked to mine have on improving my page rank? Is there any benefit to buying inbound links from businesses that sell them? If so, why would a site let links to their sites be made available to these companies? thanks justin |
