Hi all
I want to make a folder password protected in my website. So that if any one opens it it ask for the user name and password. It can be done thorough .htpassed. Can some one please tell me how can i do that. Thanks |

Most server management software provides a nice/easy interface for password protecting directories (eg: cPanel, Plesk, Ensim, DirectAdmin, etc). However: if none of those are installed on the server, you can do it manually.

My host allows me to use a control panel to simply check a box and hit a button to password protect any folder. I can do related and similar restrictions in the same way.
