sql syntax error

anybody knows how to check the error and what is the error?

Which page are getting the error etc would help.

We cant really figure out a solution with no adequate data.

The syntax is all wrong, what exactly are you trying to search?

PHP Code:


			
SELECT *

FROM `hl_listings`

WHERE `id` = 'something'

LIMIT 0 , 30

would be sample code.
It will find all rows in hl_listings whose id = 'something'

Could the problem be the smart quotes? I've never used smart quotes in SQL. Can SQL read the smart qutoes?
