Hi guys & gals,
I've been tasked with finding out what EDI is and how we might be able to use it. Now I know this is a PERL forum, but from what I gather EDI is a format for sending data and the API or language used to send/receive it can be any platform of choice - mine being PERL. So can someone point me to a good reference of how to handle EDI with PERL. And any additional info regarding EDI, its syntax, methods and usage would be very much appreciated. Many thanks Chole |

Well as far as I know, you can use XML for "Electronic data Interchange". As such you wont get any API for EDI, but you can very well use XML for this and perl has API to read and write data to an XML file.
I hope I made some sense..Please let me know if my understanding is not correct! |
