Microsoft defines some default ones, but you can modify these and even create your own. To see the code groups defined on your system, run 'caspol -lg' from the command-line.

well i also dont know much but i will my best to define:

well well ''Column Address Strobe'' works , how the memory controller actually read the memory.Well first of all chip set accesses the ROW of the memory matrix by puting an addres to the memory address pin and activating the RAS signal.then you should have to wait a while as the RAS delay to CAS.And then the colums addres is put on the address pin and thus the CAS signal is activated to acces the correct column of memory matrix.
