Default Things To Avoid When Emailing Your List

There's a lot of things to avoid when creating an opt-in list. It's not just a list of people you send newsletters to. You don't want to come off as too abrasive, sending too many emails, causing them to want off your list.

Avoid any problems with the law and your ISP. There are many laws that protect internet users from spam and unwanted mails. Because email marketing is a low cost method of marketing, a lot of company's/people have spammed inboxes.

You avoid this with an opt-in list though because people actually subscribe to the list. They gave their consent to receive emails from you, but don't forget to provide a way to unsubscribe from your emails in all of the emails that you send out. Someone could have provided an email address that wasn't really theirs.

It is essential that you keep your list clean and manageable.
Your investment in this marketing strategy is well worth it with all the coverage you will get which will likely be converted into sales then to profit.

Keep your operation legit and clean. Your reputation as a legitimate businessman and a legitimate site depends on your being a straight and true marketing strategist.

Bounced emails, also known as undeliverable messages, are those messages that were not successfully received by the intended recipient. Emails could've been bounced for a number of reasons. Don't remove the email from your list but make a note of which addresses bounce. If it continually does this, then remove the email from your list. No use sending out emails to someone that isn't getting them.

Do not provide pornographic or obscene content in your newsletters. You never really know for sure how old the recipient is. Stick to the nature of your site and business.

Remember these tips so you can have a healthy relationship with your subscribers as well as be kept within the boundaries of what is allowed in sending emails to an opt-in list.

Hmm..., as I knew one of the reasons why we got the bounced emails is because of the recipient's email was full, am I right, Jerlene?

So, what should we do, if the above situation happened?
