Default Rubicon Project

Has anyone tried these guys yet?

It's a new ad program which supposedly merges over 300 ad networks to optimize your ad space.

Quote:
Why not leverage the strengths of all of the world’s most popular ad networks? Today, advertisers are spending money with over 300 ad networks worldwide. There are small and large ad networks, networks that focus on CPM, CPA or CPC, some that are locally focused, some focused in international countries, text ad networks and graphical ad networks.
I had previously come across a few sites that were using this, but it seems they are no longer carrying the Rubicon ads. Not sure why...

Any insight here?

I won't post a link, but you can find them by searching for "Rubicon Project"

Never heard of it but my advice would be to do some research about them before you decide to join them. Check for stuff like if they pay have they scammed anyone and so on.

Considering they're still in beta, that might be a hard fact to follow.

I just had a conversation about them with a blog owner and he was running them along side Google adsense. He said, "Running these ads reduced his adsense earnings."

He didn't specify how he did with this program, however.

I wanted to see what exactly is this program and signed up for them during their beta stage and even got an invitation to join them but eventually decided against it as i am very skeptical with their program. They decide what ads are best suited for our site and will show them! I am also rather confused with their terms. I also worry it would affect my existing ad network i have!

Rubicon is google adsense, kontera, adbrite, commision junction, and all other ppc sites and affiliate program sites combined in one, at least that's what they say! They decide which progam is best for our site and will display ads accordingly!

No, I passed on it. It was a while ago I looked at this. Are they still in beta?
