In the business world I think it is always important to "keep your eyes" open. You never know when an opportunity to advertise or to promote your business might come up. It may be online or offline. It may be while you are on vacation or at the doctor's office, etc.

Could not agree with you more!

You need to be quick on your feet if you want to get anywhere, always alert to whats going on around you, changes in markets.

If one business goes down, another business profits. You need to be constantly watching, like a hawk.. to grab that little bit of market pie!

I just keep thinking about those who "kept their eyes open" during the dot com rush and snagged domains like buy.com and beauty.com. The kind of money that can be made just from being willing to invest and being on the leading edge of new ideas is inconceivable.
