Default Marketing options?

How much do you spend on marketing and what options do you use?

Me, I don't really mess with any kind like brands or anything like that, mostly affiliate marketing. Usually through PPC. What about you robert?

Thank You

In my case, I do most of the promotion myself. In some instances, I make exchange deals in exchange for my sites to get ad promotions in potential avenues.

I am still too early on in my online businesses to start putting in real marketing dollars. Right now I just put in the man hours and do everything I can that doesn't cost me a dime.

Once I prove to myself the sites are viable sources of income and have a future I will start allocating some money for PPC and banner ads.

My promotion is currently 100% me and free. If I ever hit a threshold where my marketing slows then I'll move to paid.

With a friends site, she is selling general merchandise, I am going to have to spend some money in the PPC market and other paid marketing in order to build some sort of branding and traffic influx.
