I think that logo's are very very important when running any kind of website. I make mine, but if you dont have the skills or programs you can request them from different forums.

It depends really. I personally use a logo for all my sites, but if you want to use a logo, it's up to you. Personally I think that sites that use a default template and have no logo with just text for the name of their sites look unprofessional and have very high chances of failing straight away.

If you want to succeed then make sure your site looks unique, original and something that feels good to visit and not a site that looks like other sites on the web.

Yes, I do use logo on two of my sites i use. Logos are an important aspect of site building. It will definitely let you stand alone among the numerous sites which have sprung up of late. You should use a professional designer to get your logo designed rather than going for cheaper or free logos available on the net.

I think a business logo is a importance branding for a company. People more easily remember your logo even a kids.
Like McDonald's and Coke, they are already have a huge suppotors. A logo is a unique and different from each other.

A logo is good to use especially if you are planning on branding your site and making it big. Otherwise it is not needed :P

No i don't use logos for any of my site. I use bigger fonts to mention the name of my site and then leave as it is. I feel that logos are a waste of time and energy for anyone. Instead you can concentrate on other things to improve your site.
