I've made money from two companies.
One was pinecone research but they don't let you sign up from their site, you have to find a banner and click on it from somewhere online. They're hard to find. They pay $5 per survey.

I also was paid once by ipsos-reid $15 for doing a survey about pregnancy (I was lucky enough to be invited to participate right after having my son)

Actually, today I did a survey that is supposed to net me a $10 chapters, starbucks or canadian tire gift card. I had to do 3x 30 minute surveys over the last six months to qualify.

Many out there will pay you in loyalty points and it takes LOADS of surveys to get to a payout level.
Others I find have narrow parameters for who they want so you spend lots of time filling out three to four pages of pre-qualifier questions to find out you're inelligible to continue.
I'm sure it can bring in the occasional perk or small cheque but I wouldn't count on making a small fortune from surveys. Many of the companies I've seen pay in points that take ages to accumulate.

Just my experience...

most of them are rigged. Ofcourse there are couple of sites which pay for online surveys. I haven't found any as yet though. But then i know couple of people who have earned pretty good with few online survey sites. Don't knwo why they don't want to disclose the links.

I'm trying Survey Club something or another, it doesn't seem too legit but I'm giving it a try as another experience in my life. Hopefully it works out but I wont be mad if it doesn't.

I have tried this stuff when I am searching on how to earn money on the net and the like stuff, there are actually a couple of survey sites that I can guarantee that they pay but not that much, they will pay a dollar on one survey and up to 75$ a survey if you qualify, just keeps me annoyed is that when you are in the middle of that survey and then they will said you did not meet our criteria on this survey, oh well, but sometimes if you dont qualify you are still entitled on some draw that you can win prizes.

I agree. I tried a couple about a year ago and my inbox is still full of spam despite clicking on their links to unregister myself from their spam mailings.
