Not sure if anyone has seen this floating around the net yet

Looks like a great idea, the owner has divided his web page into 1 million pixels (grouped in blocks of 100) they are charging $1 per pixel with a minimum buy of a single block (so $100) so far they have made over $5k.

Ugh so Far, that sounds liek a Sound Marketing strategy

HOWEVER. Pixels are small.. adn teh DPI for any website is like waht.. 800 by however long teh site is Height wise..

Its making money ofcourse but doesnt that deter others?

Yea, the story is this kid wants to make money for college. Pretty smart guy.

Yeah this guy is pretty smart. He was the first to think of this unique idea and implement it.

Now there is many pixel sites such as buyapixel.com and many others!

I think he still will remain the king of the ring :)

Never seen this before. But its a great idea. Although the pixels are small. Maybe I should do that someday XD

Well there is so much opportunity for more unique ideas on the net ;)

I am currently working on something unique too, that hasnt been attempted on the net and hopefully it works out well :)
