Will it affect my Page Ranking??

Presently the the page rank of my site is 0 and I want to increase the Page Ranking of my site. If I exchange the link from a site whose PR is 6 then will it increase my PR?? How will it affect the traffic to my site??

A site with high Page Ranking doesn't necessarily get a lot of traffic. High PR just means a lot of websites are linking to that site.
If you exchange links with them, it could help increase your Page Ranking. The more links on whatever page your site is on, the less it'll be.
