UIMA SDK v 1.4.1 – Supports Perl and TCL

IBM’s Unstructured Information Management Architecture (UIMA) SDK v 1.4.1 has been updated to include support of UIMA annotators written in Perl and TCL as part of the C++ enablement package. In addition, this new all-Java implementation works on most platforms and supports developers with an Eclipse-based environment better than the former UIMA.

I'm not sure how much this will help most JavaScript users? Could you - or anyone - explain further?
