Hostgator is very reliable for me. I've had them for over 6 months and only once have I found my site down. Even then it was only for a few minutes.

We've been using Intermedia for both web hosting and shared exchange for the past year, with no problems so far. They're prices are competitive and their services are excellent.

I use DreamHost, and I probably can't recommend it. Sure it's not bad, but it's not the greatest, sometimes the e-mail support seems to be very patronising and the downtime is a little much, though it has been better in the last couple of months.
