GoDaddy is pretty much expensive, is the only reason I can think of. Others are offering the same much cheaper...

i think that godaddy is still the best, i did not have any problems with them so far.

A website that is that big has more members, when there is more members there is more people getting worse servis. For example lets say there are 100 people at 1and1 and 5% get bad servis, and there are 1000 at godaddy and 5% also get bad servis, 1and1 would only have 5 people unhappy but godaddy would have 25 people.

Much of this is becuase Godaddy has over a period of time become huge and the expectations from the company are high whereas the deliverables are only average.
