Everyone, where did you host your first site or say blog? The time I entered in the net, dont have yet my blog or site but the first that gave me a host which eventually give me insights of hosting is freewebs.

I can't remember the place of my first free host. After that I hosted at tripod, geocities and a lot of other free places, before I decided it was time to go in for paid hosting.
Switched to a place called Dr2.net, which merged with Mesopia, then became Netbunch and was taken over by WebHostPlus, who scammed all their customers and most have left.

Have my own VPS and reseller accounts today at two different hosts.

My first forum was at forumer.com but then I moved on to paid hosting and I have not looked back. I could never go back to free hosting it would be a nightmare.

My first free host wasjeeran.com - Online community for free hosting, blogs, file storage, instant messaging, web community., they had no ads and really good service, good days.

Anglefire. I used it to host free and silly sites as jokes, but that's were I learned all my skills. So, all in all, it was a great thing I got into then.

awardspace. It's my first free hosting. And I think it's quite good for some free hosting provider. And it gives me good support even I just have free account.

My first blog was on writing.com...I loved it. They're still around and when I think about how many ads I clicked on...not knowing much, I made them a whole WHACK 'o' cash , haha. I've yet to set up my own website but have collaborated on many..

when i first started, i hosted on a free server, atspace.com. it had file size limit upload and no scrips supported, but it was ads free and was ok for the first few months, only it loaded slow like hell
