Ok this is the way i learned this so here i go ----> :)
Here s an example of what well be doing, you can see it in the text Preview Ok take out the sig youll be doing this with, you should choose a bold text, here mine. ![]() Ok, now create a new layer above your text layer and select your gradient tool, put the following settings ![]() Now create a small line with your gradient tool before your text like i do here, you can put it diagnol or whatever thats the way it will go thru the text, you can also put it on either side of the text. This is what i have ![]() Now hover your mouse between the gradient layer and the text layer and hold alt, an icon with two circles on top of each other should show up, keep holding alt then click, let go of alt and the gradient should ave disapeared. After that hold Ctrl and click on the gradient layer. Ready to animate it? click on the image ready button like so- ![]() Now your in image ready there should be an animation box in the bottom right cornrt, like in this picture- ![]() If there isnt one click on window then animatioin, also shown in the picture Now click on the button that looks like this- (duplicate frame button) on the bottom of the animation window. It should create another frame in the animation box, the frame should be already selected, you can tell by seeing if there is a blue outline around the picture in the animation box.Now the gradient should be selected in the sig like this- ![]() Ok now click on this- -in the tools window now click on the gradient and drag it to the otherside of the text like this- ![]() Now click on this button- type in a number around 50Now click the play button (side ways triangle) on the animation box to see what you made, if it repeates to fast just click on the last fram and duplicate it a couple times, that will make it so after going through the text it will repeat the last fram for a little while. Here is my finished result ![]() I will do part 2 (Image) tommorrow |
