1. Create a new document, I used 400x120, with a transparent background. 2. Take the polygonal lasso tool and make a selection like this (tip: hold shift to get straight lines): ![]() 3. Go to Select > inverse 4. Go to edit > fill > foreground color. ![]() 5. Deselect (ctrl + D) 6. Click on the layer with the border and click on Blending Options in your Layers Pallette. 7. Apply the following settings: ![]() ![]() 8. Now go to 'Inner shadow' leave the settings as they are 9. Now go to 'Gradient Overlay' leave the settings as they are 10. Your border should look like this: ![]() 11. Take the polygonal lasso tool again and make a few selections: ![]() 12. Press delete, then deselect (ctrl + D) and your done!
